Null Boundary Controllability for some Biological and Chemical Diffusion Problems

چکیده
We examine the null boundary controllability of diffusion problems (with non-local conditions) arising from morphogen concentration process and electrochemistry. Two different types semi-periodic conditions are addressed. Also, towards further applications to biological chemical problems, we comment on anti-semi-periodic conditions. Such make auxiliary spectral non-self-adjoint and, therefore classical eigenfunctions expansion method does not work. The systems form a Riesz basis in $ L_2 space by adding associated eigenfunctions. For controllability, determine admissible classes initial data terms their Fourier coefficients. Finally, present these reduction moment problem.

Equidistribution grids for two-parameter convection–diffusion boundary-value problems
In this article, we propose an adaptive grid based on mesh equidistribution principle for two-parameter convection-diffusion boundary value problems with continuous and discontinuous data. A numerical algorithm based on an upwind finite difference operator and an appropriate adaptive grid is constructed. Truncation errors are derived for both continuous and discontinuous problems. Parameter uni...

Null Controllability with Vanishing Energy for boundary control systems
The paper [PZ03] (E. Priola and J. Zabczyk, Null controllability with vanishing energy, SIAM J. Control Optim. 2003) introduces and studies the concept of null controllability with vanishing energy (NCVE) for distributed control systems in Hilbert space. More precisely, in [PZ03] we obtain a characterization of linear, null controllable systems, for which an arbitrary initial state can be trans...
متن کاملNull Controllability for Parabolic Equations with Dynamic Boundary Conditions
We prove null controllability for linear and semilinear heat equations with dynamic boundary conditions of surface diffusion type. The results are based on a new Carleman estimate for this type of boundary conditions.
